Large companies from Southern Ontario dominated the market, but their services often lacked consistency, care, and true community connection.

We hire only those with five or more years of professional cleaning experience, ensuring that every member of our team brings proven skills, reliability, and pride to the job. Unlike providers who rely on high turnover, our people are career professionals dedicated to long-term service.

Northern Star Janitorial Services was established in 2025 by Kamal Mann, a dedicated professional with years of hands-on experience in the cleaning and facilities management industry. Seeing the growing need for dependable, high-quality, and community-focused cleaning solutions in Timmins and Northern Ontario, Kamal founded Northern Star to raise the standards of janitorial excellence across the region.
With a Diploma in Business – Human Resources from Northern College, Kamal combines strong leadership and administrative skills with extensive cleaning and operational experience. He has managed large-scale cleaning projects, post-construction cleanups, and commercial maintenance contracts, consistently ensuring top-quality results and client satisfaction.
As the Owner and Operational Supervisor, Kamal oversees every aspect of the company’s operations—from team training and safety compliance to client relations and service delivery. His leadership is built on professionalism, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to building trust within the community.
